Our first wedding of 2023 in New England was definitely an unforgettable one. Olivia and Forrest were married on April 29, 2023 at The Greenery in Milton, New Hampshire. We are Bonnie and Jon, a husband/wife, film/photo team based in Maine, and capturing weddings throughout New England. New Hampshire weddings, though, have quickly become some of our favorites, where the scenery is always breathtaking, and the vibes are always right.
Olivia and Forrest got ready at The Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Portsmouth, where Olivia and her bridal party enjoyed the top floor suite of the hotel before her big day. She was beaming with excitement, while Forrest was quiet and calculated, making sure every detail was ready to go.
The anticipation was palpable as the couple made their way to Prescott Park for their first look. It was a beautiful moment where they shared private vows and had the chance to connect before the hustle and bustle of the wedding day truly began. They even brought a lock to add to the love lock wall in front of the memorial bridge.
The picturesque setting of Prescott Park provided the perfect backdrop for some pics with their family's red classic corvette. The bridal party also took some amazing shots in the park, where the historic scenery and spring colors complemented the wedding party's attire. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their muted olive green dresses, while the groomsmen looked sharp in their classic black-tie suits. This group was a HOOT, and such troopers braving the cold weather to give Olivia and Forrest some awesome photos and videos!
The celebrations continued at The Greenery in Milton, New Hampshire, where the ceremony and reception were held. Despite the threats of rain, everyone was grateful that the weather held up, and the day was perfect. The ceremony was moved indoors as a precautionary measure, but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Actually...we were kind of in love with this venue's back-up ceremony option! The large floor to ceiling windows behind the ceremony created the perfect picturesque backdrop, while keeping everyone warm and dry, including us! Olivia and Forrest's faith-driven wedding was a beautiful reminder of the power of love and commitment.
After the ceremony, the amazing wedding coordinators flipped the space into a stunning reception area that left everyone in awe. The elegant decorations and candles created a beautiful ambiance that perfectly reflected the couple's style and personality. One of our favorite details were the name tags for each guest, attached to a single propagated leaf set by their place setting. The guests couldn't stop complimenting the beautiful venue and decor.
Olivia and Forrest's wedding was filled with so many light-hearted moments, laughter, and fun. The couple's love for each other and their family and friends was evident in every aspect of the day. After the couple had dinner, we were excited to sneak them outside for some moody photos in the venue's orchard. Even though we didn't get the sunset we had hoped for, Olivia and Forrest truly made the best of it, and weren't gonna let a little drizzle get in the way of some gorgeous photos and video.
The energy on the dance floor was electrifying as guests danced the night away, and the DJ kept the vibes strong all night. As the day drew to a close, the newlyweds rode off into the night in their classic corvette, but not before taking a few spicy photos with it!
Olivia and Forrest's wedding was such a beautiful celebration of love and commitment. The day was filled with so much joy and laughter, and thankfully only a little bit of rain! If their wedding was any indication of what's to come in 2023, we couldn't be more excited to film and photograph even more New England weddings this summer. Congrats Forrest and Olivia!!!
