Carly and Nick get married in Waterford, Maine at Bear Mountain Inn

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a family cabin nestled in the heart of Maine that you could escape to every summer with your closest family and friends? Well, lucky for you (and us!), Carly and Nick are bringing us along to celebrate their wedding in a place they hold near and dear to their hearts: The family cabin in Waterford, Maine.

Carly's family cabin was the immediate choice for their wedding celebration, and it was a no-brainer that their guests would fall in love with Maine. But hosting such a large event in such a small spot wasn't ideal, so they chose the next best option for wedding day: Bear Mountain Inn. Nestled just down the road from their family cabin, it was the PERFECT location to host such a gathering.

To kick off the wedding weekend, Carly and Nick hosted their closest family and friends at the cabin to enjoy an evening of pizza, speeches, and a serene sunset on the lake. After sunset, guests followed the bride and groom down the road to Bear Mountain Inn, where the bar stayed open late into the night, and the anticipation built for the next day.

Carly and Nick chose to share a "first look" with each other at the driveway up to the cabin before walking down the aisle at Bear Mountain Inn. One of their close friends officiated their ceremony, and for the most part, kept things humorous and light-hearted. Carly and Nick shared their vows with one another before saying "I do" and celebrating down the aisle. Their wedding ceremony was followed by cocktail hour which the couple attended, and the reception which was chock full of emotional speeches. We can't forget about Tilly, the bride and groom's beloved pup, who had the honor of attending the entire event...including the dance party!
