There’s something undeniably charming about couples who throw tradition to the wind and make their wedding day feel like their own. That’s exactly what Alexa and Tom did when they tied the knot at The Wentworth Inn in Jackson, New Hampshire.
Set in the heart of the White Mountains, this historic inn gave cozy storybook vibes all weekend long. The fog rolled in just enough to make the summer green colors feel moodier and more intimate, which fit the whole day perfectly.
One of the most personal choices they made? Alexa and Tom got ready together. No separate suites or big reveal. Just two people in love, helping each other get dressed, laughing, debating on which shoes to wear, and easing into their day side by side. It was calm and full of intention, and it made everything that followed feel even more meaningful. Tom wore a deep green tux that somehow made his bright green eyes stand out even more. Easily one of the boldest and best groom looks we’ve seen.
Their story started years earlier, at a Halloween party hosted by a mutual friend who just had a feeling they’d click. He was right. From that night’s glowing dance floor in Portland to this beautiful celebration in the mountains, their connection has only grown deeper.
Another thing that made this day so unique was how present the couple got to be. Because we built a timeline that took care of all the “must-have” portraits before the ceremony, Alexa and Tom got to attend their entire cocktail hour. Right after their ceremony, they slipped away together for a private moment with champagne in hand before joining their guests. It was the perfect breather, and it gave them space to soak in what had just happened before jumping into the party.
And that party? Absolutely wild! Once the music kicked off, the dance floor was packed and stayed that way. It was sweaty, chaotic, loud, and filled with booty dancing. Everyone was on their feet, from the flower girl to the grandparents.
What made this wedding so special wasn’t any one thing. It was the way Alexa and Tom moved through the day with total intention. They chose calm over chaos, presence over pressure, and fun over formality. The result was a celebration that felt just like them: genuine, playful, and full of heart.
Alexa and Tom invested in our Photo + Video "Galaxy" package with additional upgrades. Their package included:

If that sounds like the kind of day you want captured, one that’s real, emotional, and fully yours, we’d love to be there for it. Reach out to see if your date’s available and tell us what kind of story you’re dreaming up.
