Kassidy and Christian were married this past weekend at Cross Creek Ranch just outside of Tampa, Florida. They absolutely hit the jackpot with a January wedding outdoors in Florida- not too hot, not too cold, and plenty of sunshine! It was hard to find anything else you could have asked for to make this day any more picturesque!
Aside from the incredible weather, the entire day went smoothly, starting with the bridal parties getting ready at different locations on the property. While Kassidy and her bridesmaids got ready in the main house and cottage, the guys had some fun showing off their best GQ poses and goofing around closer to the ceremony site as guests began to arrive.
The ceremony was held in the late afternoon in the Enchanted Forest, just as the sun was starting to set in the distance, making for a stunning scene amongst the trees and greenery. The officiant had some truly beautiful words for the couple, as well as their family and friends gathered in attendance.
With the reception space dressed up in stunning florals, draperies and lighting, the scene was set for a memorable celebration! Once the traditional first dances and cake cutting were out of the way, the dance floor got pretty bumpin' and kept going until it was about time for things to get wrapped up a few hours later.
One of the most unique features of this wedding that truly stood out to us was the way Kassidy and Christian decided to end their night. While many couples opt for a private first dance, these two decided to add an extra element by also saving their private vows for last. While their guests headed outside to line up for a sparkler exit, the couple soaked in the final minutes of their wedding day by sharing some emotional, intimate moments in private.
We felt so fortunate to capture the film and photo for this wedding, and to work in such ideal weather conditions!! A huge congratulations to Kassidy and Christian and thank you to all the wonderful staff at Cross Creek Ranch!
