Some weddings get lucky with epic sunsets and perfect weather. Others, like Sandy and Connor’s New Hampshire wedding at LaBelle Winery, radiate something warmer, something deeper. Even under gray skies and a steady drizzle, these two created a day that felt luminous from the inside out.
Their love story started in Portland, Maine, at a pre-game party. Connor saw Sandy across the room and was drawn in by the quiet confidence that lit her up. Sandy noticed Connor’s calm energy and the sense that he had his life figured out. There was no dramatic meet-cute, no over-the-top moment. Just a spark. Simple, natural, undeniable.
Their wedding day carried that same grounded energy. While many couples hope for sun-drenched vineyards and sweeping golden hour shots (let's be honest, who doesn't?!), Sandy and Connor embraced the unexpected. No first look. No epic sunset. Just steady rain, cozy moments, and a deep sense of presence.
As their wedding videographer, I felt incredibly lucky to witness how they leaned into it all. It's something I always tell couples: if it rains, EMBRACE IT. LaBelle Winery, nestled in Amherst, New Hampshire, provided the perfect backdrop with its rustic charm and moody New England atmosphere. The rain only added to the intimacy of the day, encouraging guests to gather closer and laugh a little louder.
There was so much emotion in the air. From heartfelt vows to the way friends and family spoke about Sandy and Connor’s love. Everyone knew these two weren’t just in love, they were true partners. Thoughtful, goofy, steady, and strong. They showed up for each other in the small moments, and that’s where the magic lives.
I love trying new things when editing, and chose to include Sandy and Connor's "guestbook" into their film. They placed an audio guestbook at their reception entrance table, where guests could pick up a phone and leave an audio message. We LOVE this idea, and what a great addition to add depth to their wedding film!
Sandy and Connor’s LaBelle Winery wedding was a reminder that love doesn’t need a clear sky to shine. It just needs two people who are all in, who are ready to spend their lives together.
Sandy and Connor invested in our videography "Galaxy" package, and added a 2nd shooter into their package. Their investment included:
8 hours of wedding day coverage
2 videographers
6-8 minute Highlight Film (see top of blog post)
1-minute Sneak Peek Trailer (see below)
Full Length Ceremony + Toast Edit (for privacy, the couple has requested this remain offline)
