Late May in Florida means you've got about a 50/50 shot of your parade being rained on...as was the case for Jordan and Matt last weekend. The venue for their wedding, the Powel Crosley Estate, is primarily aimed at hosting large outdoor gatherings overlooking the water behind the property. With the all too familiar thunderstorms brewing all across the state, the decision was made to move the ceremony indoors. However, to maintain that waterfront view and accommodate all of their guests, the entire rear of the property was tented by Tampa Bay Staging and Events. And would you believe it...it never rained!
Jordan was absolutely stunning in her dressed designed by Lea Ann Belter Bridal. Not only did it provide all the swooshy-ness a bride could ask for, but the dang thing had pockets as well!! Matt got a private first look with his bride to be in the house's so called Ship Room, which gave the couple plenty of time for photos around the property.
After the intimate ceremony, the couple snuck away to a private outdoor space on the property where they read each other their personal vows. As the cocktail hour flowed into the reception, the winds picked up- but so did the party. TLS Entertainment absolutely killed it with music, and by the time we were leaving Matt and Jordan were being hoisted high above the dance floor in chairs!
While the bad weather may have skipped over their wedding, these two were prepared for anything and just happy to be celebrating with friends and family. A huge congratulations to Jordan and Matt, and we can't wait to get started on their full edit!
