Lena and Anthony had first reached out to us in the early fall of 2021 about capturing their wedding, which was still in the early stages of planning. Fast forward a few months later, and their thoughts on having a traditional wedding day had completely changed- they both said 'forget it!', and decided to just tie the knot at the courthouse!
Knowing they still wanted to have photos and a film to commemorate their marriage, Lena and Anthony hired us for an elopement session around historic Ybor City in Tampa, Florida. Anthony managed to secure the use of a 1967 Chevelle from a customer of his at First Class Detailing, and it completely enhanced the vibe by adding a unique twist to their shoot!
Starting in Centro Ybor, the couple shared a stroll together along the brick paved roads, before hopping in the Chevelle and cruising to the roof of a nearby parking garage. With downtown Tampa as their epic backdrop, Lena and Anthony exchanged their vows before each popping open a bottle of champagne to celebrate!
The evening ended as many love stories do- by driving off into the sunset...after one final drive down the main strip of course!
"Bonnie and Jon are beyond incredible. The film and pictures exceeded all of our expectations. They were both so flexible when we last minute decided to elope but still wanted an epic photoshoot to share with friends and family. I put full trust into both of them to run with their creativity and they captured our personality and vibe of the video we were hoping for. I cannot recommend them enough." -Lena, bride
