Cynthia and Travis were married this past weekend at Cross Creek Ranch outside of Tampa, Florida. We were excited well before the day even started, since we knew how much we loved the couple from hanging out with them for an engagement session just about a year ago. Also, Cross Creek Ranch is one of our favorite Florida venues, as it provides so many unique settings in a small space, and the employees there are just the best!
All of the details for the day were exquisite- a bridal gown from the Kleinfeld Bridal Disney Collection, thoughtful touches of Christmas decorating here and there, and beautiful florals done by Alta Fleura.
The bride was helped into her stunning (though incredibly heavy!) dress by both her mother and grandmother. The three of them shared both laughter and tears, before Cynthia showed off the look to her bridal party outside. Afterwards, Cynthia had a first look with her father as everyone looked on and balled their eyes out at all of the emotion between the two of them.
Meanwhile, Travis and his groomsmen hung out on the other side of the property and got ready. There was definitely much more laughter and general goofiness over there, but certainly some genuine moments between the groom and his best man.
The bride and groom decided to have a first touch before the ceremony, exchanging gifts and hand written notes. The emotions were certainly running high, with tears in the eyes of both Travis and Cynthia!
The ceremony was held at the Enchanted Forest space at the venue. Honestly, this space can get HOT at certain times of the year- like, soaked in sweat by the end of the ceremony hot. But fortunately being a December wedding, the sun was low in the sky and everyone was able to stay comfortable- even Cynthia in that heavy dress!
The reception and subsequent party went off without a hitch, and with plenty of epic dance moves. The small added touches to the space made a large impact, including wreathes, lanterns, and gifts for each guests- individually wrapped and signed by the bride herself.
At the end of the evening, the couple shared a final, private dance while the guests went outside to line up for a sparkler exit. We were so fortunate to be there and capture it all for this wonderful couple, and we can't wait to get into editing the photos and video!
