With their New Hampshire wedding coming up next April, Olivia and Forrest made sure to make the most of peak foliage this October by scheduling their engagement session at just the right time! Opting for two different vibes during their shoot, we started out by meeting up in the Old Port neighborhood of Portland for some downtown shots, with the couple arriving in their formal outfits and looking ready for a night out on the town!
After receiving a plethora of compliments and shouts of 'Congratulations' from passersby on the city streets, Olivia and Forrest were ready to get a little more comfy and capture some seacoast vibes- their fingers crossed that the trees in Fort Williams Park were still going strong with Autumn colors. The first stop, however, was getting down close to the water and capturing the early evening glow on the water.
As we headed up from the coastline and looked around at the golden hour light beginning to make its way down to the horizon, we knew we were in for a treat. The majority of the foliage was still vibrant, and the dreary skies that had proceeded this evening had faded away and left us with plenty to work with!
As the inevitable park worker with a megaphone began driving around to tell us it was time to start heading out, Olivia and Forrest made sure to get that extra Fall-y shot of throwing some leaves up in the air, reliving the childhood fun of the season, before it meant worrying about what to do with all those leaves in your yard!
We are so happy with how this session turned out, and can't wait for this couples' sure to be breathtaking spring wedding at The Greenery in Milton, New Hampshire!
